U of U COO, Alison Flynn Gaffney kicked off the annual Heart Walk on June 6th by saying "Through our participation in the Heart & Stroke Walk, our impact becomes exponential. WE are funding the groundbreaking research we bring to life in our hospital. WE are investing in the future and creating hope for better patient outcomes. WE are striving to become the #1 fundraising healthcare system in the country by raising $350,000 this year.

To get there, we are seeking 2,000 fundraising walkers to help us put our best foot forward. I would love to see every department represented and focused on our mission of support AND TO HAVE SOME GREAT FUN TOGETHER walking and being present with one another and our community!!"
