The weekend of the TCS New York City Marathon this year marks 2 years since I lost my dad to heart disease and I am honored be running my first marathon in recognition of him. New York City is where our family began, and I am grateful for the opportunity to experience it as a charity runner alongside the American Heart Association’s team Heart & Stroke.
Every dollar raised through my fundraising will go towards advancing cardiovascular disease and stroke research, while providing quality health care access to all.
While my time with my dad was cut short, I am hopeful for a future where others are granted more time with their own loved ones through the awareness and mission of the American Heart Association.
Thank you for your support!
