I'm running the NYC Marathon this year with the American Heart Association to honor my dad, Butch Gibbons, who passed away from a heart attack at the age of 44. I was 12 when I lost him, and the impact of his passing has stayed with me throughout my life.
This race is not just a physical challenge - it’s deeply personal. It’s a way for me to take action in memory of my dad and raise awareness about the importance of heart health. Every step I take in this marathon is a step toward helping the American Heart Association continue its mission to fight heart disease.
By donating, you're supporting vital research, education, and programs that can save lives and prevent others from experiencing the same heartache I did.
Thank you for supporting me on this journey. With your help, we can help others live longer, healthier lives!
