I'm running the NYC marathon in memory of my dad, Ken, who passed away from a heart attack in 2021. He was a born and bred New Yorker, whose roots were in Brooklyn and grew up on Long Island. I've always thought if I'm ever to run a marathon, it's New York or Nowhere, baby, as I've adopted my dad (and mom!)'s original home. 

The marathon is the day before my 30th birthday - would love to celebrate with all of you on the streets of New York! I want to spend that day running my heart out and honoring my dad's.
