Running the 2025 New York City Marathon In Honor of all those affected by Heart disease and stroke.
I am very excited to share with you that I am an official member of Team Heart & Stroke for the 2025 TCS NYC Marathon.
On November 2nd, I will be running 26.2 miles through all five boroughs of New York City as I represent the American Heart Association. Over the course of the next several months, I will be training for race day and raising money to help support the American Heart Association so they can continue their dedicated work in fighting heart disease and stroke and bringing awareness to cardiovascular health.
The team has selected just 45 participants to run the marathon, and I was lucky enough to receive one of those spots! If I am able to meet my fundraising goal, I'll join 50,000 other runners as they race through the streets of New York City for the world's greatest marathon.
I will be running in honor of all those who have been affected by Heart disease and stroke. Heart disease and stroke have affected the lives of so many people that I love and so many in our small community. As these life-altering conditions have become more evident in my family's health history, I have made my own health and fitness a serious priority, and running has become a big part of that journey.
In order to run, I have to meet my $5,000 fundraising goal ahead of November. I have a long road ahead of me, and lots of work to do, but I'm hopeful my community will show up to support me. For those who would like to make a donation, thank you! There are many ways to support this goal, and any donation of any amount is meaningful. Some ways to help --
1. Make a gift in the amount of your choosing. Whatever feels right to you!
2. Sponsor a mile. Spoiler alert: there are 26 of them!
3. Share this page and help me spread the word. Please share this page with them! Every share helps.
