My youngest son Royce was born in August of 2025 with a congenital heart condition-dTGA. He underwent open heart surgery at two days old, followed by several weeks in the NICU. This experience changed my life forever. Through that time, my family and I saw firsthand how much the American Heart Association supports families like ours-from funding lifesaving research to providing resources, education, and community.
