About one year ago, I gave brith to my daughter and first baby, Magnolia. I spent a few months in bliss and then I remembered my promise to myself, not to lose myself in motherhood. I am a human too and this is also my first time on this Earth. I owe it to myself to continue to chase goals that seem unachieveable to prove that I can still do the hard things.
In April 2026, I ran my first half marathon at just 9 months postpartum and I am going to run my second in November while raising funds for AHA. This charity race is to prove to myself again that I can do the hard things, I am more than just a mother, and I can be the healthiest version of myself for my daughter.
Therefore, if you feel any of this resonate with you, I greatly appreciate your contribution and support for mothers wanting more and the American Heart Association.
