This year, I'm running the Rothman 8K and fundraising for the American Heart Association. If you know me at all, you know that I do not like to run! But I'm doing this because it's more than just running a race - it's about raising important funds for the American Heart Association and bringing more awareness to CPR readiness, leading a healthy lifestyle, and hopefully saving more lives from heart disease and stroke.
Over the last 2+ years working at the American Heart Association, I've heard incredible stories from survivors, families, caregivers, and advocates whose lives have been impacted by heart disease and stroke. Those stories have made a lasting impression on me, but this mission is also personal.
Like so many others, my family has been affected by heart disease. Seeing loved ones face those challenges has given me an even deeper appreciation for the lifesaving work the AHA does every day.
If you'd like to support me, I'd be incredibly grateful. Every donation helps fund lifesaving research and programs that give more people the chance to live longer, healthier lives. Thank you for your support!
