Hi Friends and Family!
This year I am running the Chicago Marathon in honor of my Dad, Bob Shaw, who passed away from a heart attack back in 2021. I’m running with the American Heart Association, and will be raising funds and awareness for heart health along the way!! The race falls a couple days after his birthday, and I am so excited to be fulfilling a life long goal of mine in honor of him.
The funds we raise will support the American Heart Association's vital work in the fight against heart disease and stroke. Your generous donation will help fund lifesaving research, improve access to care, and provide education to help prevent heart disease. Since 1924, the American Heart Association has been at the forefront of advancing heart health by funding research that saves lives, advocating for healthier communities, and supporting heart disease patients and their families. The American Heart Association works tirelessly to reduce the number of heart attacks and to prevent heart disease through research, education, advocacy, and training. Their efforts help people live longer, healthier lives, reducing the impact of heart disease on families and communities.
Please join me in honoring my dad’s memory by supporting this incredible organization. Every dollar makes a difference in helping prevent others from suffering the same heartbreaking loss. Together, we can make a lasting impact on heart health and save lives.
Thank you for your support!
