My name is Lucy Kallal and I was born with a bicuspid aortic valve. I have always loved playing sports through out high school, however, I was told I was no longer to play because of my heart. My new outlet is running! I love running because it brings me so much joy! I have recently ran two marathons in 2024. Chicago Marthon will be my third! I got the opportunity to run for the American Heart Association and I am beyond grateful to get this opportunity! Once again, Thank you so much for supporting me and my journey!!!!
