It's that time again!
You all know I couldn't stay away from the thrill of another marathon but more importantly, the meaning behind it. I feel so lucky and blessed to be able to do the things I can which can easily be taken for granted.
In New York, I ran with Team for kids raising money for kids that are less fortunate and wish to participate in athletic events; Boston, I ran for Special Olympics and this year I will be running Chicago for the American Heart association.
Did you know heart disease takes the life of someone every 34 seconds? Additionally, it is the #1 killer for women while Sudden Cardiac Arrest is the #1 killer in the work place taking over 300,000 lives per year.
Please help me reach my goal of raising $5,000 to go towards research and technology to end heart disease and stroke for all. I would not be able to do this without the support of my family, close friends and all of you that support this journey for me!
