In 2026, I will be running the Chicago Marathon in support of the American Heart Association.
This race is more than a personal goal — it is a mission rooted in love, purpose, and awareness.
I am running in honor of my mother, who passed away in 2017 due to an undetected heart condition that led to a stroke. Her passing changed my life, and through this journey I hope to raise awareness about heart health, the importance of early detection, and the need to truly listen to our bodies.
Every mile I run is for her — and for every family impacted by heart disease and stroke.
Running has become a form of healing and strength for me. Each step forward is a reminder that even through loss, we can continue moving with purpose, carrying the love and lessons of those who shaped us.
Your encouragement, shared messages, and support — in any form — truly mean more than words can express. You are helping bring awareness to a cause that is deeply personal to me.
Thank you for being part of this journey.
