The American Heart Association is a cause very near and dear to my family. I run in honor of my dad, diagnosed with Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy (HCM), he has never let it slow him down and his positive attitude inspires me every day. I run in honor of my mom, the person who got me into running and a heart attack survivor, she is the strongest woman I know. I also run in honor of my uncle, Randy Holmes, who passed away in 2020 following a stroke. We miss him so much and I hope to carry on his legacy as I race 26.2 miles to the finish line.
Your contribution helps fund lifesaving research, advocacy, and education to support long and healthy lives for individuals living with cardiovascular disease. Thank you for the support and for cheering me on along the way!
With a grateful heart,
Aubri
