When I was fifteen year old, I lost my father suddenly to an unexpected cardiac arrest. It wasn't until that moment I realized how many deaths occur nationwide due to cardiac issues or complications. This charity is very dear to my heart, and I hope the money raised will help those families or loved ones in need. I am running the 2026 marathon for my father and all other families who have lost a loved one to heart complications or continue to fight everyday with heart complications.
