My son, Jackson, was born in 2025 with multiple congenital heart defects and underwent open-heart surgery within his first days of life, and then again at 4 months old. Our family witnessed firsthand how critical heart research and specialized care truly are. I’m running the Chicago Marathon to support the American Heart Association so more families can experience support and live-saving care when they need it the most.
