This year, I’m running the Chicago Marathon in support of the American Heart Association.
I chose to run for this cause because my dad passed away from a heart attack. Losing him was life-changing, and it made me realize just how important heart health awareness, prevention, and research truly are.
Heart disease affects millions of families every year. The American Heart Association funds critical research, promotes education, and works to prevent heart disease and stroke so fewer families have to experience this kind of loss.
Training for 26.2 miles is a challenge, but it’s nothing compared to what so many people and families face every day. Every donation, no matter the size, helps support lifesaving work and moves us closer to a future with healthier hearts.
Thank you so much for your support. It truly means a lot to me.
