I am reaching out to ask for your support to help me raise money for the American Heart Association this year by fundraising for the 2026 Chicago Marathon. For those of you that do not know, my Dad, Phil Whitney, has been battling heart disease in the form of congestive heart failure for the past few years and was recently denied a heart transplant due to other conditions that made the surgery too high risk. He was denied the heart in the summer of 24' and was told to treat each day "as a gift". If you know my Dad, it will not surprise you that he fights the disease with all his might each and every day. It goes without saying, he is one tough man! I am looking forward to toeing the line in Chicago this fall for something bigger than myself and hope to make my hero, my Dad, proud of my effort.
