On March 30th, 2024, my Mom, Michelle Lovrencic O'Connor, suddenly died from horrible complications of a common heart procedure at the age of 57.
My Mom grew up in the suburbs of Chicago in Crystal Lake and went to Northwestern University which is where I graduated last spring.
Chicago has always been a huge part of our family’s life, which makes it especially meaningful that I’ll be running the Chicago Marathon in her honor with the AHA.
