"Every 38 seconds, another loved one suffers a heart attack or stroke." My dad died of a massive heart attack at age 55. He had over 90 percent blockage in his arteries, yet we thought he was the healthiest he had been in years. I miss him so much, and it breaks my heart that his grandchildren will never get to meet him here on this earth.
Heart disease is known as the silent killer and is the leading cause of death worldwide. As you are reading this, I am certain you can think of somenone you know who suffers a disability as the result of a cardiac episode, or worse, died too soon because of this terrible disease.
Please consider donating through my fundraiser to American Heart Association. You will be funding cutting-edge research for new treatments, education and support programs, and more--all designed to improve the heart health of our loved ones and save more lives. My goal is to raise $1500 before the Chicago Marathon in October 2019.
Thank you for supporting American Heart Association. Your contribution is greatly appreciated.
