Hello friends and family!
As many of you know, I have been an avid runner for many years. I have ran 5ks, 10ks, half marathons, and even full marathons. The Chicago Marathon 2024 is a little different. I won’t just be running for myself. I decided to run for a cause and raise money for the American Heart Association. All of us know someone close to us who has been affected by heart disease and heart trauma. My best friend went into cardiac arrest at the young age of 45 and she is still fighting a daily battle to keep her heart healthy. Heart failure is real and more research is needed to help all of those affected. That is where the American Heart Association comes in! Their mission is to support research. To me, there is no better charity to run for because it can result in helping so many.
My fundraising goal is $1750. I would be honored to have your support. Each donation will help motivate me to train for and cross that finish line. All the money raised will go to the charity (all race and travel fees will be paid by me).
Thank you for supporting me and the American Heart Association. Your contribution is greatly appreciated!
Fun Fact: The heart, which is a muscle, has twice the power of the leg muscles of someone sprinting.
