Hey there! You might be wondering why you're getting this message? I'm excited to share that I'll be running the Chicago Marathon in October for the American Heart Association! I'm pumped up for this chance and the challenge it brings.
As part of the AHA, I need to do some fundraising, and I'd really appreciate your support. You see, my family has a history of heart disease. My grandpa passed away from a heart attack when he was just 57, and my dad has had his fair share of heart issues too - a 5-bypass open-heart surgery at 42, a massive heart attack at 52, and continues his battle with heart disease at 62. But I'm not here to bring you down. I'm sharing this because it's the reason I chose to run for the American Heart Association.
I want you to know that every penny you donate will go straight to the AHA – not a cent goes to me for entry fees or gear. I'd be super grateful for your donation, as this cause means a lot to me. Thanks in advance!
Best,
Charleston Roberts
