I am excited to be able to participate in the 44th annual AHA Beach Ride in support of the American Heart Association. Heart disease is the number one cause of death in the U.S., with no age discrimination.
Most of us have a family member, friend, or know someone who has been affected with heart disease or stroke. My husband, Ed is alive today because of the advanced life-saving technology used to repair arteries in his heart. For this I an forever thankful.
Hundreds of people continue to volunteer each year at the beach ride to raise awareness of the importance of the Heart Association and to support the riders who fundraise in their behalf.
I have been blessed with the privilege of owning horses and am honored to have the privilege again this year to fundraise for the AHA. I lost my horse Shadow, in March, 2024, (profile picture). We had shared many beach rides together. His unexpected loss affected me deeply, he was a special hours and a highly trained in search and rescue/recovery. Through it all I am happy to fundraise for cause I completely believe in, even if I didn't ride.
This year, my personal goal is to help the AHA raise $3000. We CAN MAKE IT WITH YOUR HELP!!! Please join me in the fight against heart disease and stroke?
Thank you for your support.
