Heart disease unfortunately surrounds us all. Personally, I have lost grandparents to heart disease, and others who currently have it. I also have a few friends who have suffered early on in life, as well as colleagues. It means a lot to me to be able to contribute to such a large cause, while supporting Ride-a-Rescue. RAR has been such a large part of my life in a short amount of time- it's helped me build my confidence in myself, but also helping me get past some of my fear with my knees. I've met some wonderful people through the rescue, and horses, and I am excited to be able to participate.
