Information, education, research, heart disease, stroke, and high blood pressure. What do all these things have in common? The American Heart Association (AHA), that's what.
It is my pleasure to once again participate in the AHA 2026 Beach Ride, a fundraising event to help bring awareness to heart health. Last year's Beach Ride included over 700 horses from across the country. Ride-A-Rescue, the non-profit organization where I volunteer, had 19 horses participate. We were part of a fundraising effort that raised $436,032. Our rescue horses gained valuable exposure to new experiences and built confidence and trust with their riders on the beach. This event is a win win.
I lost my Dad to heart disease. Just last month, a dear friend was experiencing severe pain in the middle of her back and then to her jaw. Fortunately she recognized the symptoms of a heart attack and went directly to the hospital. Knowing these signs helped save her life. Chances are someone you know knows someone impacted by a heart attack, stroke, or has high blood pressure.
It is my hope that you will make a donation to this years AHA Beach Ride. No donation is too small and 100% of your donation goes to the AHA to help further life saving research. In addition, funds will help promote valuable information and education to our families an friends.
Thank you for your consideration and support. Please feel to contact me with any questions.
