Join Me in Celebrating Health, Horses and Hope!
This year, my family and I are excited to participate in the American Heart Association Horse Ride as part of our "Year of Celebrating the Horse." As I prepare for this special event, I wanted to share why this cause means so much to me personally.
Over the last year, I made a commitment to improve my health. It wasn't always easy, but the results have been life-changing. I have lost a significant amount of weight, lowered my blood pressure, reduced my average heart rate, and, best of all, eliminated medications that I once needed to take every day. I feel stronger, healthier, and more grateful than ever for the gift of good heart health.
Throughout this journey, horses have been a source of motivation, peace, and joy. They remind us of the importance of movement, perseverance, and the connection between physical and emotional well-being. That's why participating in this ride during the Year of Celebrating the Horse feels especially meaningful.
Heart disease continues to impact millions of individuals and families. The American Heart Association works tirelessly to fund research, provide education, improve patient care, and help people live longer, healthier lives. Supporting this mission is my way of giving back and helping others experience the opportunity for a healthier future.
I thank you for your support through a donation to my fundraiser. Every contribution, no matter the size, helps advance lifesaving research and programs that make a difference in communities across the country.
As I ride in celebration of the horse and in support of heart health, I will be thinking about the people who have encouraged me throughout my own journey.
Thank you for being part of that support system and for considering a donation.
Together, we can celebrate the strength of the human spirit, the power of healthy living, and the remarkable partnership between people and horses.
With heartfelt gratitude,
Tonya DiCola
