After a short break, we return to Myrtle Beach for the 45th AHA Beach Ride. My first ride was in 20004 with Maxwell and Bandit. So many things have changed, but not my love for this ride and for my support for the American Heart Association.
My why has changed a bit too. My Husband John, had bypass surgery in 2017, has a defibrulator/ pacemaker and is undergoing a CT after his echo detected issues. Will update when we know more. Add this why to the impact heart disease has had on my Grandma, Dad, Son's Father in Law and so many others.
The funds raised have made a huge difference for so many people. I love this cause.
