Last year, we raised $2,862.00 on my donation page. I am humbled and blessed by all of you that helped do this. I was able to attend the ride and see the impact that this organization has on real lives. This year I am riding for Dalton Ausley and Ronnie Tootle. Dalton Ausley was known in my community for having a larger than life heart. He spent so much time helping others and being a blessing. Dalton was the one that buried my mare, Jewel, with such thoughtful care. He treated her like she was the most precious thing. Dalton had a smile that was big and bright. He is missed by everyone that knew him. I want to thank his father, Marty, for allowing me the honor of riding for him.
Mr. Ronnie Tootle served in Vietnam with the United States Army. I had the privelege of seeing this gentleman and his family several times a week. If you needed a funny story, a warm hug, or some scripture, Mr. T gladly filled the need. He loved the Lord, his family, and his country (also, Reeses peanut butter cups!). Sadly, he passed last year from a heart attack. I am grateful to have known and loved him. Thank you to the Tootle family for allowing me to ride for him.
Thank you all for your support last year! I look forward to being a part of this event for 2026.
God bless.
