After a short break, we return to Myrtle Beach for the 45th AHA Beach Ride.  My first ride was in 20004 with Maxwell and Bandit.  So many things have changed, but not my love for this ride and for my support for the American Heart Association. This year Max turned 25 making this year even more special.

My why has changed a bit too. My Husband John, had bypass surgery in 2017, has a defibrulator/ pacemaker and continues to battle heart disease.  So many other loved ones have been affected by heart disease.  My Grandma and Dad lost the battle.  My Son's Father in Law is a miracle man.  So many other loved ones have been affected by heart disease.  We are riding for them as well.

The funds raised have made a huge difference for so many people.  I love this cause.
