This ride is important to my entire family. My father has suffered from heart disease since he was a late teenager. He has had 6 open heart / bypass surgeries. He also battles CHF daily and recently I at age 32 have shown pre curser signs of having similar issues. I was born with a defect that affected my heart as a young child and as I grew I was able to outgrow the condition. Many doctor visits and hospitalizations as a child aided me in outgrowing my condition.  Without this organization, people like my dad and myself would not survive the conditions they currently have.
