I'm so grateful that my best friend of 23 years, Kristin Oswald chose to ride this year in memory of my mama.
My name is Taryn Arion , my mom & dad passed away from heart issues at ages 34 & 57. Unfortunately heart issues are on both sides of my family & a lot of family members end up with pace makers before the age of 60.
My mom Rena' Kennedy didn't always live the best life but in the end she overcame her obstacles , her heart was already worn out unfortunately.
She was able to live her last 2.5 years the happiest she had ever been in her life, got to know the Lord again and enjoyed memories made with her family. 2.5 years after pace maker her heart stopped, pace maker was still zapping but heart wouldn't start back beating. My heart is broken after losing my mom suddenly Jan. 30th, 2022 .
The heart can stop whenever it's ready, sometimes giving zero warnings. There's many things that can contribute to heart diseases , family medical history is important to know to educate yourself on how to possibly prevent damage that can ultimately take your life in a blink of a eye.
I'm honored that my mom's memory will live on through her testimony, for that I find peace that I can help others by sharing her story. I pray everyone stays proactive in their health & daily choices that affect our health.
