I am so excited to be participating in the 43nd annual AHA Beach Ride to support the American Heart Association. Heart disease is the number one cause of death in the U.S., with no age discrimination.
Most of us have a family member, friend, or know someone who has been affected with heart disease or stroke. My husband , Ed is alive today because of the advanced life-saving technology used to repair the arteries in his heart.
Hundreds of people continue to volunteer each year at the beach ride to raise awareness of the importance of the Heart Association and to support the riders who believe the same.
I have been blessed with the privilege of owning horses and am honored to have the privilege again this year to fundraise for the AHA. I lost my horse Shadow, in March, we had shared many beach rides together. His loss has affected me deeply, he was a very special and highly trained horse, and not easily replaced. While I may not be riding this year I am happy to fundraise for cause I completely believe in.
This year, my personal goal is to help the AHA raise $3000. We CAN MAKE IT WITH YOUR HELP!!! Won't you please join me in the fight against heart disease and stroke?
Thank you for your support.
