This will be my first year participating in the AHA Beach Ride and I am so excited that not only do I get to be a part of a great organization that brings awareness to heart health but I will also get to take a rescue horse along with me for the ride.

My dad had a heart attack in 2007 and underwent a quadruple heart bypass and through that experience I have learned so much about the importance of advocating for heart disease. I have now worked in the medical field for 9 years and continue to promote heart health.
