I am so excited to be participating in the 40th annual AHA Beach Ride to support the American Heart Association. Heart disease is the number one cause of death in the U.S. with no age discrimination. Babies are born with heart defects. My father died of a heart attack on the golf course in 1996. Most of us have a family member, friend or know someone who has been affected with heart disease or stroke.
Katelyn, shown above, was diagnosed with Tetralogy of Fallot at birth and had 2 surgeries before the age of 1 year. She is now 16 years old due to the medical research funded by the AHA. She and her family volunteer each year at the beach ride to raise awareness of the importance of the Heart Association and to support the riders who believe in the same.
I am honored to be riding for the 5th year as a member of Team Noah. My horse, Roeza, and I will be riding 20 miles along with about 1,100 other horses and riders for this amazing cause.
Last year, the 2020 Beach Ride raised just shy of $400,000, even during a crazy year with COVID! This year our goal is to raise $500,000. We CAN MAKE IT WITH YOUR HELP!!! Will you please join me to help the AHA raise much needed funds to fight cardiovascular disease and stroke?
Thank you for your generosity & support,
