Hello! I'm Lily. I just turned 9 years old and am in 3rd grade! I'm participating in my school's Kids Heart Challenge and raising funds to help everyone have healthy hearts.
I am raising money in order to help save people. I know a lot of people who have heart issues. My mom and two of my grandmas. One of my grandmas had a heart attack last Christmas and had to wear a life vest for a few months. My other grandma had what they call a widow maker's heart attack, but luckily she got help right away, and is ok now! My papa Tom also had heart issues but he passed away.
I'm also learning things like how to keep my own heart, brain and lungs strong, how to save a life with Hands-Only CPR, the warning signs of a stroke and ways to stay calm.
I'm really excited about raising money in order to help people and hope you will help me save lives by donating!
