Kids Heart Challenge is a fun and effective way to encourage lifelong health through education and being physically active. This year will be the 36th year of a strong partnership with the American Heart Association and continuing this event at Pleasant Ridge. A huge goal of this partnership has always been to raise awareness and to bring hope to those who have been affected by heart disease and stroke, along with making sure our students know how to keep their own hearts healthy. In addition to the students learning to take care of their own hearts in a fun way, we try teaching them to give back to something bigger than themselves. Cardiovascular disease and stroke continue to impact almost every family in America.
Pleasant Ridge as a school has raised $1,362,347.16 lifetime for the American Heart Association! Some of our previous years total have been
