Every one of us has a connection, a person, a why to get out there and make a difference when it comes to the #1 and #5 causes of death: heart disease and stroke. So, let's be bold, be confident, be life changing and let's step out together and save some lives.
Chattanooga State Community College is honored to participate in this year's Heart Walk to benefit the American Heart Association and their efforts to combat heart disease. In the United States, heart disease is the number one cause of death and stroke is the fifth leading cause of death.
Recently, the Chattanooga State Community College family lost one of our own to heart disease. Stan Furlow worked as a chef at the College for over 20 years. He was a beloved member of our college family.
Chattanooga State is dedicating our walk to Stan. We appreciate your help honoring his memory and helping to prevent heart disease by donating to the Heart Walk.
Many thanks for your support of the American Heart Association.
Sign up to participate, to lead a team, to donate, to recruit friends and family. Then, we will walk together!
