Our School is Heart Healthy!
Join us in learning about heart health and raising funds to protect all hearts – especially other kids! Through fun activities we’ll discover ways to take care of our hearts and brains while practicing kindness, gratitude and learning to ways to de-stress. Plus, we have the chance to earn PE equipment for our school!
Meet our Local Youth Heart Ambassador, Rogan!
Rogan is a 4th grade student at Wilkesboro Elementary School. He was born with AVSD and Pulmonary Stenosis. At 10 months old, he had open heart surgery to repair the holes in his heart. He’s doing great but in time will undergo another surgery to fix his leaky valves. Rogan loves participating in Kids Heart Challenge, helping to raise awareness and funds for kids like himself. He hopes his story will inspire his classmates and community to give generously and also learn how to take care of their own heart health!
