Our School is Heart Healthy!
Each year North Creek Elementary takes part in what in the past has been called Jump Rope for Heart through the American Heart Association. This event is now called the Kids Heart Challenge! This is an opportunity to raise money for the American Heart Association while teaching elementary students about the importance of caring for their hearts and helping people with sick hearts through community support. During these few weeks in PE, we will discuss ways to take care of our hearts for a lifetime, learn about healthy eating, and learn to jump rope! This is North Creek’s 28th year of participation with the American Heart Association.
Join us in learning about heart health and raising funds to protect all hearts – especially other kids! Through fun activities we’ll discover ways to take care of our hearts and brains while practicing kindness, gratitude and learning to ways to de-stress. Plus, we have the chance to earn PE equipment for our school!
