Walking for Lloyd: Honoring a Legacy of Love and Dedication
On April 20, 2023, we lost a beloved member of the ACLA family, Lloyd Paul Manison Jr., to a heart attack. He was 60 years old. Lloyd was more than a colleague—he was a man of integrity, discipline, hard work, and loyalty. He had an undeniable sense of style, a passion for gardening, home repairs, and baking, and above all, a deep love for his family. One of his greatest joys was watching and coaching Zachary in sports, always leading with encouragement and wisdom.
At ACLA, we were fortunate to share many moments with Mr. Lloyd, and we are grateful that our last big event together was a celebration—our Employee Appreciation Day. It was a time of joy, laughter, and gratitude, and it will always be a cherished memory.
This year, we walk in his honor at the American Heart Association's Heart Walk, not only to remember him but to raise awareness and funds for heart health. Heart disease remains the leading cause of death in the U.S., and through research, education, and community support, we can help prevent future losses.
By donating to our team, you’re supporting lifesaving heart research, education, and advocacy—efforts that can make a real difference in preventing heart attacks and saving lives.
Join us in honoring Mr. Lloyd’s legacy by making a donation or walking with us. Together, we can fight heart disease and celebrate the lives of those we love.
Every step we take is for Mr. Lloyd. Every dollar we raise is for the future.
Thank you for your support.
