Chattanooga State Community College is proud to participate in the 2025 American Heart Association Heart Walk, continuing our strong tradition of supporting heart health awareness and research. Last year, our college came together in a powerful way, raising the most money of any participating organization. We walked in memory of a beloved colleague and friend who life was cut short by a heart attack--a loss that impacted all of us and reminded us of the urgent need for prevention, education, and medical research.
This year, our walk takes on new meaning as we honor and celebrate the survivors of heart disease within our own ChattState family. These individuals inspire us every day with their stories of recovery, strength and resilience. By raising funds for the American Heart Association, we aim to support critical research, provide resources for those affected, and help save lives through early detection and treatment.
Heart disease is the leading cause of death in the United States, but togeher we can change that. Each step we take and dollar we raise brings us closer to a future where fewer lives are affected by heart disease. At ChattState, we walk with hope for longer, healthier lives for everyone in our community.
