9 out of 10 people who suffer cardiac arrest outside the hospital die. In most of those cases, bystander CPR was not performed. But we can change this.

 

Over the past three years, MicroLumen has funded programs that provide Heart Healthy Education in schools, CPR training and AEDs for local youth sports organizations and schools, and participation in the Heart Walk. The Heart Walk is a key way for us to encourage our employees to help MicroLumen support heart-healthy initiatives in the community through the AHA.

Cardiac arrests happen at work, in homes, on athletic fields and in neighborhoods everywhere, and the readiness of our community can be the difference between life and death.
