9 out of 10 people who suffer cardiac arrest outside the hospital die. In most of those cases, bystander CPR was not performed. But we can change this.
Cardiac arrests happen at work, in homes, on athletic fields and in neighborhoods everywhere, and the readiness of our community can be the difference between life and death.

Team BNY has been a proud participant in the AHA Wall Street Heart Walk and Run for many years. At BNY, we have expanded this event into a four-month campaign that promotes healthy living and wellness through a range of initiatives, including employee events, CPR training, and nutrition programs. This campaign reinforces our commitment to creating value for our employees while supporting AHA’s mission training more people in lifesaving CPR, advancing critical research, and enabling more lifesaving moments for everyone.
