Heart disease is the No. 1 killer of all Americans, and that's why my family and I are participating in Heart Walk for the American Heart Association.
Last year I walked for my colleague, Lucy, who lost her life to a sudden cardiac event. She was young and healthy -- with a beautiful family -- and it shouldn't have happened to her. We miss her every single day.
Heart disease shouldn't happen to anyone, young or old. This year I'm walking for my family -- immediate, extended and those who are LIKE family to me. (You know who you are.) And I'm STILL walking for Lucy. That's not changing anytime soon.
I'd love it if you'd commit to doing one small thing today to help your heart. You can add another one next week, or next month. Those small changes add up. That's not just the company line -- it's science. I'd also greatly appreciate your donation that could help fund the next lifesaving advance. I promise to skip the lectures on kale.
With gratitude ❤
