We're all tied to heart disease in some way. We have to change that.
My story started a long time ago, but I was personally impacted on 6/11/2023. Now, after a severe heart attack, emergency open heart surgery, quadruple bypass and almost a month in the hospital, I am on my way to recovery and some sort of normalcy! The AHA and WakeMed literally saved my life!
I walk because I know that with every step, I am saving lives.
