Joey is why!
Our Joey. Joey was full of life. He loved to laugh and have fun. Whenever there was a party, holiday or our usual sunday family dinner watching the Giants, he was always the first one there and you ALWAYS saw a big smile on his face. Family and friends meant the world to him. Whether it be taking pictures of his nieces, eating contests or lunches with his nephews on their Saturday hang sessions, driving mom and nonny around shopping or making fun of Bob Ross and the "pretty little trees", you always saw him smiling and having a good time. You could always count on him for a good laugh too! If with him or at him....and there were MANY times we laughed at him, Joey was one of a kind.
Mothers Day, 2014, Joey had a heart attack. After that he started exercising, he quit smoking and changed his lifestyle. He did great! He went in for bypass surgery the following May. Unfortunately in June of 2015 all of our lives changed. Joey lost his battle with cardiovascular disease. He was 42.
Not only did we lose our brother, son, uncle and friend...we lost our Superman. Our Joey.
Please help us fight this horrible disease that takes the lives of so many innocent people. Please donate or help us raise money by joining our team.
Thank you from Team Joey D!
