I am proud to be supporting Team Darth Striders in this year's American Heart Association Heart Walk, and this mission is personal.
I walk for my nephew who was born with Coarctation of the Aorta (CoA) and underwent open heart surgery as a newborn and again as a young child. Because of research, resources, and support made possible by AHA, he is thriving today -and we want that hope for every family.
We are walking to raise funds and awareness for the fight against heart disease and stroke -the leading cause of death worldwide. This mission is personal, and together, we can help power lifesaving research, support survivors, and promote heart-healthy lives across the galaxy.
Whether you are a Jedi, Sith, or somewhere in between, we need you on our side. Support our team, donate, or join the walk -and together, we will strike back against heart disease.
