Heart disease runs in my family. My father passed away at 52 after his second heart attack, at a time when stent technology was unavailable. I also suffered from a blocked artery and I'm fortunate to have had two heart stents placed in 2009, saving my life.

This year, I’m asking for your support in the Heart Walk campaign. The American Heart Association has invested $5 billion in research since 1949, benefitting 19 million patients and dramatically lowering deaths from stroke and heart disease.
