Three Years Strong — And Grateful Every Day
Three years ago, I survived a near-fatal heart attack. It was a shock, a wake-up call—and ultimately, a gift. That moment changed everything. It gave me the chance to reflect on what truly matters: time with my incredible family and friends, making new memories, traveling to new places, and meeting my now two-year old grandson.
Perspective is powerful. I now understand how quickly life can change. The importance of expressing love and gratitude every single day. Telling your loved ones you love them. Thanking your friends for their support. Offering grace, saying sorry, and forgiving freely.
I’m incredibly fortunate to be thriving today. I owe that to the amazing doctors, nurses, and caregivers who saved my life—and to my wonderful wife, who continues to care for me with love and strength.
This year, I’m walking in the 2025 American Heart Walk to honor that journey and to help others get the second chance I was given. Your donations support the groundbreaking research sponsored by the American Heart Association—research that truly saves lives, including mine.
If you’re able, I’d be deeply grateful for your support.
Thank you for helping me pay it forward.
