On June 5th of this year I experienced a spontaneous coronary artery dissection that resulted in cardiac arrest. Thanks to the ER team at UP Health System - Marquette, I survived.
Sadly, 9 out of 10 people who experience cardiac arrest outside the hospital do not survive. I'm walking and raising funds for The American Heart Association to help improve those odds.
