When I was very young I was diagnosed with a heart condition called Left Bundle Branch Block (LBBB). I lived life normally for many years, going in every year to get my heart checked and then moving on. While in college, I started to experience symptoms I didn't even realize were related to my heart. I felt constantly fatigued, nauseous, lightheaded -struggling to get through everyday activities. As my physical health worsened, my mental health suffered as well; just getting out of bed to make breakfast felt like a tumultuous task.
In August of last year I had surgery to get a pacemaker. The improvement to my quality of life was beyond what I ever expected. I no longer suffer from chronic fatigue, and knowing that I have a great team of doctors and nurses behind me means everything. In essence, heart health and is very important to me! If you are able, I appreciate your donation to funding lifesaving science.
It's time to unite, take action, and save lives. Every dollar donated, means more people trained in lifesaving CPR, more research and more lifesaving moments for everyone. Together, we can turn bystanders into lifesavers.\u200b
